how are you supposed to shave down there? whenever i do it, i cut myself and it's nasty.

Here are a few tips to help out with that:
- If you don't shave often, trim with scissors before attempting to hack it all off with a razor. It'll make it a lot easier on your skin as well as the razor.
- Use something to protect your skin while you shave. Shaving cream works best usually, but things like conditioner or lotion would also work.
- Avoid dry shaving
- Shaving in the direction of the hair growth is less likely to cause cuts and razor burn
- Rinse the blade often so that the hair doesn't interfere with shaving
- Only go over areas once. You shouldn't need to go over them repeatedly or really push hard into them. If you do...you need replace your razor
- On that note...keep a sharp razor. A dull razor is more likely to cause problems
