I've had only 5 flights in my life, including 2 which were transatlantic, my shortest flight being 50 minutes and the longest like 11 hours. I'm still here, am I not? You'll be fine. Planes are relatively safe comparing to the fact that walking down the street a brick can fall on your head, some wacko might shoot you, or you could get hit by the lightning. Flying is kinda fun, I like the part of takeoff and landing, but I have to confess I'm not a big fan of it either. The food is either delicious or disgusting, lol.
